Clam Dip

Makes about 2 cups


This delectable dip is as easy to make as it is to eat and is aguaranteed guest pleaser.


1, 16-ounce carton of sour cream

2 cans of chopped or minced clams, drained


You may stop here and simply mix the two together and serve or you may continue on to guild the lily by adding:


1 teaspoon finely minced fresh dill weed

2 to 3 tablespoons finely chopped white onion

Dash of Worcestershire sauce

Fresh lemon juice to taste

Salt and pepper to taste


Mix all together well and add as much of the clam juice drained from the cans as is necessary to make into the consistency you wish. Chill before serving. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh dill weed.
