Roasted Garlic & Herb Dip

Makes about 2 cups

 

This dip is a garlic lovers dream.  No need to go to Gilroy.  You can have your own garlic festival right in your mouth.  For some reason, cut  vegetables, toasted baguette or pita work better for dunking with this dip than tortilla or potato chips.

  

1 cup sour cream *

1/2 cup mayonnaise

About 20 cloves of roasted garlic minced

1/2 a medium size sweet purple onion, chopped small

1 green onion, finely chopped including the greens

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

About 1 tablespoon each, finely minced fresh dill weed, parsley and cilantro

Salt and fresh coarse ground black pepper to taste

Mix all together well.  Garnish with sprigs of fresh herbs.

* Vegans use EMU or other non dairy sour cream substitute.
