THE HUNGER STUDY
Recently NOAH was chosen to participate in the fifth national hunger study conducted by FEEDING AMERICA, The Nation’s Food Bank Network. The purpose of the study is to conduct research into the effectiveness of food assistance services and to help assess the hunger problem in America.
This survey not only helps to gather information about the effectiveness of the nation’s food bank network, it also helps with determining the reasons recipients need charitable assistance. The information gathered through the study enable the nation’s food banking network to better understand the needs and analyze it’s capacity to meet those needs. |
