Makes about 1 cup
This versatile vinaigrette will give added dimension salads. Also try using it as a marinade for steamed vegetable.
3 or 4 cloves of garlic, very finely minced
About ¼ cup of finely minced onion
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon dry dill weed or 1 teaspoon minced fresh
1 tablespoon chopped chives
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 cup olive oil
2/3 cup red wine vinegar
Place all ingredients in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid and shake vigorously. Store in the refrigerator until needed. Shake vigorously before using. |
